Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Fairburn, GA seeks a Residential Driver to safely, efficiently and courteously provide waste removal services to customers. You will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transport to post-collection facilities.

Primary duties include operating a fully automated side loading truck, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting route sheets, and maintaining a clean vehicle while complying with safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid CDL.
• Two years of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely operate vehicle and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automated side-loading truck on designated routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor and mechanic.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards as directed.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
