Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver to safely perform curbside waste or recycling collection using a fully automated side loading truck.

You will complete daily inspections, document route performance, and communicate issues to supervisors to maintain service quality. The role requires a valid CDL, 2+ years of commercial driving experience (or CDL school), and strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum two (2) years of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fully automated side loading truck and hydraulic system on defined routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports daily.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
