ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to deliver dependable door solutions for customers. You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade a variety of automatic pedestrian doors at client sites, ensuring safety and satisfaction.

You will pursue AAADM certification, perform maintenance, and collaborate with contractors. A valid driver’s license and a strong safety mindset are required for this on-site role in the United States.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with repair experience.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 110 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
