Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will work with sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, delivering reliable service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Role requires mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, experience with glazing and aluminum frames, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring is a plus.
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors, ensuring excellent service.
