Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, a global leader in automated door solutions, is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade sliding, swinging, and rotating doors at customer sites.

You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and collaborate with contractors to ensure safe, reliable door solutions, while delivering superior customer service.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and repair of electro-mechanical devices.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring is required; access control systems a plus.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames and hardware is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to lift and handle door components up to 110 pounds and work in varied positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices and relay logic issues.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
• Perform physically demanding tasks and use power tools as needed.
