Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to deliver reliable automated door solutions and exceptional service to customers in healthcare, transportation, and retail sectors.

You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, maintain AAADM certification, and participate in on-call rotations after training. Join a global leader committed to safety, growth, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 due to job responsibilities.
• AAADM certification within one year of employment and ongoing maintenance.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 110 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
