Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, ensuring high customer satisfaction and safety.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, electrical know-how, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. A valid driver's license and AAADM certification are needed, with training and certification opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, delivering excellent service.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
