Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is hiring an on-site Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer locations. You will handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring top customer satisfaction and safety.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and a valid driver's license. AAADM certification must be obtained within 6–12 months, and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring (120v).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames and hardware is a plus.
• Good driving record and valid license are required.
• Willingness to obtain AAADM certification within the stated timeframe.
• Commitment to safety, customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service.
• Participate in training programs and on-call rotations after certification.
