Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while delivering high customer satisfaction and safety.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs., working with low-voltage systems, and maintaining AAADM certification. We offer a company vehicle, uniforms, and comprehensive health plans.

Qualifications

• Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 due to job-related responsibilities.
• AAADM certification within one year of employment and maintenance.
• Experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
