Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle electro‑mechanical diagnostics, work with aluminum frames and glass components, and ensure top‑notch customer satisfaction.

On‑call rotations apply after training and certification. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and clear communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring (120V).
• Ability to lift and use power tools; driving and clean driving record.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors; provide excellent service.
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.
• Lift and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds with or without aids.
