Supporting the delivery of the LINQ Cloud and LINQ Workcell platform to provide new global multi-tenant and single-tenant environments for our customers.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, US whose mission is to be the driver of community and demand in the US, helping us reach our revenue targets.

Why is this role important for Automata?

We have recently opened up our US office, and are looking for a full-stack marketer to be the first crucial marketing hire on the ground. You’ll create a localized marketing strategy that is aligned with our global ambitions.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Community: Manage our community marketing in the US (especially in Boston) – currently small events and sponsorships.
  • Campaigns: Create campaigns to produce qualified leads in biotech and pharmaceutical verticals
  • ABM: Improve sales velocity with Account Based Marketing campaigns to our key verticals and target accounts, teaming up with the local sales team.
  • Co-marketing: Seek out opportunities to build and strengthen relationships with thought leaders and partners in the market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Sales, US & the global marketing team, and provide insights to inform decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Market knowledge: Monitor lab automation market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies if necessary in collaboration with our product marketing.

What it takes:

  • Experience in creating a 360-degree US marketing strategy (aligning with a global strategy)
  • Experience (+5 years) in creating, executing, measuring, optimizing, and reporting of integrated campaigns that contribute to pipeline growth using modern marketing tools and channels
  • Proven experience in running enterprise B2B account based marketing campaigns
  • Experience in community building and event management
  • Profiency with HubSpot, Looker and Salesforce
  • Excellent project manager and communicator to all levels of the business
  • Strong ownership, desire to experiment and share best practices

Nice to haves:

  • Experience on marketing to the life sciences industry / scientists.
  • Track record of being either: one of the first marketers in a global team in a startup; or in a regional team at a high growth scale up.
  • Experience in product marketing, helping shape messaging for complex products.

What gets us excited?

We’re passionate about the future of Technology and Automation and our growing success is built upon like minded individuals who share our passion.

This role is transformative to our growth in the US – we are looking for someone who is excited to roll up their sleeves and build our presence in our key market. You will be given a lot of autonomy and trust, and the support of the wider global marketing team.
