Job summary

Davies North America is seeking an Auto Transportation Claims Adjuster in Michigan to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve auto and trucking liability claims in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 5+ years of auto transportation claims experience, an active MI license, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients, insureds, attorneys, and medical providers to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

Qualifications

• Active MI claims adjusting license or reciprocal.
• Strong knowledge of liability claims handling practices.
• Experience handling BI, PIP, or auto transportation-related claims preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Investigate auto and trucking liability claims.
• Evaluate coverage and negotiate settlements.
• Collaborate with clients, insureds, attorneys, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
• Handle files with attorney representation and moderate litigation activity.
• Demonstrate developing expertise in transportation claims.
