Job summary

Davies North America is seeking an Auto Transportation Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate and resolve commercial transportation claims. The role requires 5+ years of auto transportation claims experience and active Michigan claims adjusting licenses (NY a plus).

You will collaborate with clients, insureds, attorneys, medical providers and other stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate resolutions while applying company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of auto transportation claims experience.
• Active MI claims adjusting licenses or reciprocal (NY a plus).
• Strong knowledge of liability claims handling practices.
• Experience handling BI, PIP, or auto transportation-related claims.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve auto transportation‑related claims.
• Handle BI, PIP and other exposures with sound judgement and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with clients, insureds, attorneys, providers and stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Conduct coverage analysis and determine claim strategy for moderate complexity files.
• May handle files with attorney representation and moderate litigation activity.
