Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations across service bay, front counter, and back office in Fraser, MI. You will lead by example, coach technicians and advisors, and help ensure fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service.

This hands-on role requires a strong communicator with retail or automotive leadership experience, and a commitment to safety and customer care.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Lead daily store operations and supervise the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
Assist with scheduling team coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment reflecting brand values and safety standards.
Support customer experience and sales efforts by explaining services and consulting on needs.
Assist with inventory management, cash handling, and POS transactions, ensuring accuracy.
Monitor and track daily sales, productivity, and KPI metrics.
