Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Fraser location to support the Store Manager in daily operations, balancing service bay work with front-counter duties and back-office tasks.

You will lead a small team, coach technicians and service advisors, greet customers, suggest services, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient shop while delivering fast, high-quality automotive service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment including the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard new team members on procedures and POS usage.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and brand standards in the shop.
• Monitor daily sales, productivity, and KPIs to meet store goals.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support efforts to build repeat business through quality service.
