Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Service Manager in delivering exceptional automotive service and safety. The role leads the team when the manager is away, upholds VIP standards, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations at the Scarborough location.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring LMS and ASE training completion, and coordinating work orders while maintaining a clean, safe service area and superior customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in absence of Service Manager and ensure safety and compliance.
• Educate customers about vehicle conditions and VIP processes.
• Maintain effective communication with team via daily huddles and meetings.
• Coordinate dispatching of work orders to technicians and monitor service flow.
• Ensure facility and equipment are maintained according to policies and guidelines.
