Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Metropolis, IL is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily shop operations and sales efforts. You will greet customers, document service needs, quote costs, and promote services and parts to drive revenue.

The role requires a customer-focused approach, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to work five days a week including Saturdays. Competitive pay with hourly+commission and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or an automotive related field
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process driven environment
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday’s

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by phone
• Document customer concerns and inspect vehicle Service history
• Recommend services and share additional recommendations with customers
• Promote services, parts, and accessories
• Provide accurate quotes with costs and completion times
• Process payments and review warranties with customers
• Follow up after service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Track returns and warranty parts for customers
• Other duties as assigned
