Job summary

Plaza Tire Service, part of The Sun Auto Network, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the shop floor with a focus on sales and service excellence in a busy retail automotive environment.

You will greet customers, document concerns, recommend services, provide accurate quotes, and keep the team on track when the store manager is out. The role offers $50,000-$80,000 per year with hourly pay plus commission. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Experience in sales, customer service or automotive related field.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.
• Possess valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and on the phone.
• Document customer concerns and verify service needs.
• Recommend services and document recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and completion time for approved services.
• Provide updates on service status throughout the day.
• Process payments and review warranties and inspections.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
• Track returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
