Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Manager/Writer to lead auto service operations in a Bridgestone Retail Operations store. You will coach technicians, schedule work, manage inventory and ensure customer satisfaction while driving service sales.

The role emphasizes leadership, hiring, and hands-on automotive expertise to deliver high-quality service and strong store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience required.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience required.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license to test drive vehicles.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians to meet store requirements.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing education in automotive repair issues.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff by skill level.
• Oversee hiring and training of the auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention and quality standards.
• Manage customer interactions, issue resolution and follow-up.
• Drive sales through proactive customer engagement and vehicle inspections.
• Coordinate front/back shop communication to optimize revenue and operations.
