Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager/Service Writer to lead auto service staff, oversee customer interactions, and coordinate between technicians and customers. You will hire, train, and coach team members while guiding parts and equipment purchases to support seamless shop operations.

The role emphasizes driving sales through quality vehicle inspections, proactive communication, and ensuring high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; 4 years auto service experience; 1 year service manager or service writer experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills for customer complaints.
• Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
• Effective recruiter of technicians as store needs require.
• Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
• Valid automotive driver's license required to test drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff based on skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers and oversee service team performance.
• Lead hiring and training of auto service personnel and ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain quality standards and exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication.
• Drive sales by facilitating front-back shop coordination and providing product/service insights.
