Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager based in Nashville, TN to lead auto service operations in our BSRO network. You will supervise technicians, schedule work, and coordinate with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.

You will guide staffing, training, and performance while driving service quality and revenue through proactive communication and inspections. A sign-on bonus may apply for first-time hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years auto service technical experience required.
• 1 year service manager or service writer experience preferred.
• Proven problem-solving in handling customer complaints.
• Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Ability to lead and coach others.
• Strong teammate and customer communication skills.
• Ability to recruit and select technicians per store needs.
• Willingness to pursue continuing education and stay current.
• Must have valid automotive driver’s license to test drive customers’ vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee hiring and training of auto service team.
• Maintain high teammate retention.
• Ensure quality standards compliance.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Be primary contact for customer inquiries and feedback to foster loyalty.
• Understand store operations and paperwork, financial transactions, and policies.
• Enhance efficiency and seamless store operations.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
