Job summary

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to lead the auto service team and manage customer relationships. You will oversee scheduling, training, and day-to-day operations ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with technicians, manage parts and paperwork, and drive sales through proactive customer interactions and thorough vehicle inspections. A background in automotive repair and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times to test drive customer's vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by effectively managing all aspects of customer interactions, including proactive communication, issue resolution, and follow-up.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and feedback, fostering long-term relationships.
• Develop understanding of business operations in the automotive service environment and manage paperwork and transactions.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
