Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Service Manager to lead auto service teams, coach technicians, and drive outstanding customer satisfaction. You’ll supervise scheduling, hiring, training, and ensure quality service across all interactions.

The role blends hands-on repair knowledge with people management, inventory oversight, and support for parts sales. ASE certifications and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of auto service technical experience.
• 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem solving - customer complaints.
• Capacity to lead and coach others.
• Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
• Must have valid automotive driver's license at all times to test drive customer's vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to skill level.
• Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
• Oversee hiring and training of auto service team.
• Ensure high teammate retention.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by managing customer interactions.
• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
• Develop understanding of business operations in automotive service environment.
• Drive sales through proactive customer interactions and vehicle inspections.
• Provide insights to front of shop to facilitate product and service sales.
