Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Duluth, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations and lead a team delivering fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service.

The role blends hands-on work in the service bay with front-counter leadership and back-office oversight, aiming to develop into store leadership and drive customer satisfaction, safety, and efficiency.

You'll coach technicians and advisors, manage schedules, monitor inventory, and ensure brand standards across the shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using POS and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and supervise daily operations.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors.
• Schedule team members to cover peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell per manufacturer guidelines.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory levels.
• Ensure shop and customer areas are clean, safe, and organized.
