Job summary

Jenkins Mazda is seeking a Service Advisor in Ocala, FL to serve as the primary contact for automotive service and repair matters. You will listen to customers, arrange service levels, and set expectations with customers and technicians for timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has dealer-level or large-facility experience, post-secondary automotive training, and ASE certification (or willingness to obtain). A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with dealer-level or large facility experience (minimum 1 year).
• Post-secondary automotive training; ASE certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Meets/greets customers in person or on phone.
• Arranges prompt and accurate diagnosis of reported problem.
• Makes best-value repair recommendations based on problem nature.
• Manages delivery of required repair actions and sets/ communicates expectations.
• Maintains documentation (POs, invoices, work orders, reports).
• Ensures safety standards are followed and parts inventory is managed.
• Promotes a high-quality, 'white-glove' service environment.
• Takes ownership and accountability for service levels delivered.
• Adheres to company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
