Job summary

Jenkins Acura in Ocala, FL is seeking a Service Advisor to be the primary contact for automotive service and repair matters. You will listen to customer problems, arrange appropriate service levels, and set expectations with customers and technicians for service delivery.

The ideal candidate has dealer-level or large facility experience, post-secondary automotive training, and ASE certification (or willingness to obtain). A strong service and customer record is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of dealer-level or large facility service experience.
• Post-secondary automotive training completed.
• Certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or willing to obtain certification.
• Strong technical and customer service performance record.

Responsibilities

• Meets/greets customers in person or on phone.
• Arranges prompt and accurate diagnosis of reported problem.
• Makes best-value repair recommendations based upon nature of the problem.
• Manages delivery of required repair action by setting and managing customer expectations.
• Maintains documentation, including PO, invoices, work orders, reports.
• Performs duties in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
