Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a friendly and professional Sales & Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and recommend the right services. You will review history and inspection results, explain maintenance and financing options, and create estimates and invoices in the POS system.

The role combines customer service, sales, and problem-solving in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn automotive products and services.
• Experience with POS systems and diagnostics tools is a plus, but training is provided.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and successful MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, listen to their needs, and build trust from the first hello.
• Review vehicle history, Digital Vehicle Inspection results, and technician findings to recommend the right services.
• Explain maintenance, repair, tire, warranty, and financing options clearly.
• Build estimates, work orders, and invoices in the point-of-sale system.
• Keep customers updated on service status, timing, and cost throughout the day.
• Partner with technicians and store leadership to manage workflow and keep repairs on track.
• Schedule appointments, verify parts availability, and follow proper checkout procedures.
• Make post-service follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and encourage return visits.
• Help keep the store clean, safe, and customer-ready, and follow all safety procedures and required PPE.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
