Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Extensive knowledge of the automotive industry and parts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate with technicians, customers and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and handle inquiries in person and by phone
• Prepare estimates and invoices for repairs and parts
• Perform walk around with customer present
• Describe problems on repair orders to guide technicians
• Communicate promised repair times to customers
• Explain completed work and recommendations after service
• Collect payments from customers
• Liaise between customers, manufacturers and technicians
• Track repair orders and parts requests
• Follow up with customers after service
• Ensure repair orders are completed accurately and on time
• Schedule appointments and answer questions about repairs or maintenance
• Maintain manufacturer certifications as required
