Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking an Auto Service Advisor to work with customers to identify vehicle needs, verify warranties, develop estimates, create repair orders, and ensure outstanding service.

Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, promoting automotive products, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Prior experience in auto service and a can-do attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a customer-focused role.
• Previous experience in an auto service/mechanical setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously and announce service specials.
• Schedule service appointments for customers.
• Establish knowledge of Fleet Farm's tires, parts and accessories.
• Promote and sell automotive products and services to meet customer needs.
• Develop service estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor, and calculating customer payments.
• Occasionally perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes and fluid checks.
• Assist customers with questions and maintain superior customer service.
• Assist in event and promotions preparations.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and credit card offerings.
• Ensure services are completed with high quality and customer satisfaction.
