Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an Auto Salvage Coordinator in North Carolina to oversee the end-to-end salvage process, ensuring compliant disposal of total loss vehicles and maximizing asset recovery. You will collaborate with salvage vendors, appraisers, and claim handlers to manage titles, vendor expenses, and recovery timelines.

Ideal candidates bring an associate or bachelor's degree with customer service experience, strong organization, and attention to detail, plus proficiency

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of work and/or customer service related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with one year of work or customer service related experience OR Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process title documentation and paperwork for salvage vendor submission.
• Evaluate disposal method for salvage assets per state titling laws; establish follow-up to maximize recovery.
• Review and audit vendor invoices for accurate expense management and negotiate to fair outcomes.
• Review credit and debit transactions posted to the claim file for accuracy.
• Verify inbound titling documents and process payments; contact parties to obtain missing ownership documents.
• Establish minimum bids using salvage pricing system and re-list vehicles to maximize recovery.
• Review auto sale listings for data accuracy, vehicle year/make/model, and damage.</br>Assess image quality, parts used, and odometer readings where applicable.
• Perform sale price audits by monitoring online auctions to validate gross proceeds.
• Maintain salvage capture screens and document all claim activity for data integrity.
• Manage left-with-owner dispositions and resolve related title issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
