Jay Hatfield Chevrolet GMC of Pittsburg is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing team. You will build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through vehicle selections with strong product knowledge.

You will demonstrate vehicles, discuss options and warranties, and work toward closing sales while delivering excellent customer service. This role emphasizes meeting goals and growing with our family-owned dealer group.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts
• Meeting Sales Goals
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
• Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints

Requirements

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours & Saturdays
• Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s
• Fantastic communication skills with your customers
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Valid Driver's License
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen (THC is not tested for pre-employment)
• Must be at least 18 years or older
