Jay Hatfield Certified Used Cars LLC is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to join our team. The candidate will be ambitious, with strong interpersonal skills, and capable of meeting and exceeding goals by developing client relationships and offering product solutions that fit customer needs.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, product expertise, and a customer-first approach in a family-owned dealership with growth opportunities and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including Saturdays.
• Ready to learn new product in’s & out’s quickly.
• Excellent communication with customers.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen (THC not tested).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and create customers for life by asking questions and listening carefully.
• Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggest trade-ins; engage community events; greet walk-ins; respond to inquiries; promote sales campaigns.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining features, capabilities, and warranties; taking test drives; describing services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for the sale; negotiating price; completing contracts.
• Meet sales goals.
• Be the vehicle expert and know product offerings, options, and latest technology.
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to generate referrals.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.
• Bring a positive attitude every day.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints.

• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
