Jay Hatfield Chevrolet is looking for an Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing team. The right candidate will be ambitious, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet and exceed goals.

Day-to-day tasks will include developing client relationships and providing product solutions that best meet our customer's needs. You will build relationships with customers, explain vehicle features, and close sales with strong communication and service.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours and Saturdays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and grooming.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and create customers for life.
• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers and prospects.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining features and taking drives.
• Close sales by overcoming objections and completing contracts.
• Meet sales goals.
• Be the vehicle expert and know product offerings and technology.

• Follow-up with buyers for referrals.

• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts
• Meeting Sales Goals
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
• Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours & Saturdays
• Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s
• Fantastic communication skills with your customers
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Valid Driver's License
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen (THC is not tested for pre employment)
• Must be at least 18 years or older
