Job summary

Upstart is hiring a Business Development Representative for its Auto Retail team. You will drive revenue by prospecting automotive dealerships, delivering tailored outreach, and building pipelines with dealerships nationwide.

You’ll work with marketing, executives and OEM teams on strategic initiatives. Base salary ranges with bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package are part of the total compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
• At least 6+ months of Enterprise software / SaaS B2B sales development experience including cold calling and email outreach.
• Track record of growing sales pipeline through targeted account-based approach.
• Strong communication, analytical, and listening skills, with a positive and energetic phone presence.

Responsibilities

• Account research to identify key decision makers in target dealerships.
• 1:1 sales prospecting with personalized messages and offers to key personas.
• Inbound lead follow-up in collaboration with marketing.
• Coordinate with account executives to align on target accounts and handoffs.
• Lead management and CRM data upkeep; support weekly reporting.
