Job summary

AutoEngage is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive outbound sales within the automotive service vertical. You will identify franchise dealership targets, initiate conversations with service leaders, and book qualified demos for the sales team.

This remote U.S.-based role requires proven cold outreach skills and the ability to research and personalise outreach to busy dealership decision-makers. Growth into Inside or Regional Sales is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong outbound sales experience with cold prospecting.
• Experience selling into dealerships from vendor or SaaS.
• Able to research accounts so outreach is personalized.
• Organized, capable of managing a territory systematically.
• Comfortable being measured on qualified meetings held.

Responsibilities

• Prospect franchised dealerships across assigned markets.
• Reach service directors, general managers, dealer principals, and corporate dealership leaders by phone, email, LinkedIn, and Salesloft.
• Book qualified demos for the sales team.
• Research accounts before outreach so messaging is relevant.
• Use HubSpot to maintain clean account, contact, activity, and meeting records.
• Work with Regional Sales Managers to support territory plans, field routes, and dealership-group opportunities.
• Build repeatable outbound plays around service communication, missed opportunities, retention, and repair order growth.
• Learn how larger dealership groups evaluate technology, expand products across rooftops, and make service-lane decisions.
