O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, handle cash and credit transactions, process exchanges, and help with stock, planograms, and daily operations.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, teamwork with managers and technicians, and growth opportunities with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone and quote prices per policy.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer and process payments (cash, checks, credit).
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, cleaning, etc.
• Perform daily operational tasks and stock management such as returns and inventory counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, scan codes).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
