Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with assigned tasks.

Essential duties include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, handling transactions, and aiding with inventory and planogram updates. The role emphasizes excellent service, product knowledge, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Support managers and installer service specialists with professional customers as needed.
• Answer store calls per policy, look up parts, quote prices and suggest related items.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
• Process exchanges and returns according to policy and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily store operations including stocking, planogram updates, and inventory checks.
