Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management. The role encourages bilingual candidates and emphasizes timely customer assistance, accurate transactions, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting service programs, assisting professional customers, handling calls, and maintaining merchandising and stock.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• ASE certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist professional customers with service and installation tasks as needed.
• Handle phone inquiries, lookup parts, quote prices, and promote low-price guarantees.
• Maintain cash drawer, accept payments, and process transactions.
• Process exchanges/returns per company policies and resolve complaints.
• Support image maker, planogram updates, stocking, and store upkeep.
• Perform in-store services and operate basic test equipment after training.
