Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the Manager’s absence and ensuring all orders and returns are processed promptly.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure phone calls follow company policy.
• Ensure timely processing of BOPIS/ship-to-store, transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise invoicing before product leaves the store and manage security procedures.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor adherence to posted work schedules and correct clock-ins/outs.
