Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in El Monte, CA is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and teams in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will also assume shift management in the manager's absence.

The position emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to process online orders, transfers, returns, and invoicing while maintaining friendly service.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• ASE Certification is desired.
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and programs.
• Answer phones per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds correctly.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out.
