Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

The role requires strong communication, RSS certification eligibility, and experience in auto parts retail; ASE certification and multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts advantageous.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge beneficial.
• ASE Certification desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the showroom with program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Ensure returns are processed and refunds issued correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follow schedule and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties including money handling and security.
