Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Installer Service Specialist to support professional customers at the installer counter, oversee daily activity of the delivery team, and ensure accurate and timely order deliveries.

This role requires strong mechanics knowledge and excellent communication; duties include taking orders by phone and online, invoicing, directing parts picking and delivery, maintaining vehicles, and collaborating with Sales Specialists to deliver superior service.

Responsibilities

• Work with installers/professional customers to develop sales relationships.
• Quickly and accurately take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice orders, direct picking/staging for delivery, and route delivery specialists to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and log mileage in fleet devices.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to deliver superior service to professional customers.
• Verify all products and cores are billed before customers leave the store.
• Credit returns processing and prompt handling of core/warranty returns.
• Audit returns for warranty abuse and proper tagging.
• Provide front counter support as needed and assist with backroom duties.
• Assist with customer labor claims to ensure fast processing.
• All other duties as assigned.
