Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Installer Service Specialist to support professional customers at the installer counter. This experienced parts expert will oversee daily activity of the delivery team and ensure accurate, timely order deliveries.

You will develop sales relationships with installers, take orders by phone and online, invoice orders, and direct efforts to pick and stage parts for delivery. The role also requires vehicle maintenance checks and collaboration with Sales Specialists to

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanics.
• Above average communication skills.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Develop sales relationships with installers and professional customers.
• Take customer orders by phone and online, invoice orders, direct efforts to pick and stage parts for delivery, and route delivery staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
• Ensure vehicle inspections are completed on time and daily mileages are entered.
• Work with Sales Specialists to provide superior service to professional customers.
• Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave.
• Ensure new core and warranty returns are picked up and credited in a timely manner.
• Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and ensure proper tagging.
• Assist on front and retail counters as needed; help with backroom duties.
• Assist with customer labor claims and ensure rapid processing.
