Job summary

NAPA Clinton, IA is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to be the face of the store, helping customers with auto parts and services, answering questions in person and over the phone. You’ll use catalog and computer systems, handle cash, and support team with inventory and learning about automotive parts.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED and a willingness to learn; ASE certifications are a plus. This is an on-site, full-time role at our Clinton store.

Qualifications

• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean drive record.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for customers at the counter and over the phone.
• Support other team members with questions and customer interactions.
• Deliver outstanding customer care and engage customers for a positive experience.
• Assist with inventory, cataloging and price checks as needed.
