Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Allendale, MI is seeking a Parts Coordinator to ensure a seamless customer experience by ordering, receiving, storing and dispatching parts for repair orders. You will verify parts quality, track inventories and liaise with vendors to match production needs and pricing changes.

This role demands strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced shop environment. Prior automotive parts exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of automotive parts experience (auto body parts a bonus).
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).
• Strong communication and organizational abilities; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Order and receive parts as indicated on repair orders; verify quality and quantity.
• Label, track and store parts with RO numbers.
• Enter parts invoices into MIS and monitor pricing changes (PPI).
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely parts distribution per production schedule.
