Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks a Parts Coordinator to deliver exceptional customer experience by efficiently ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. You verify parts accuracy and quality in a timely manner according to production schedules and vehicle needs.

You will manage parts with MIS, communicate price changes, and ensure accurate invoicing and discounts while supporting a fast-paced collision repair environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus).
• Customer Service oriented with strong organizational ability and initiative in problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Communicate all customer requests to team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive all parts, confirming quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop per production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into MIS.
• Label and track all parts by RO number and store with vehicle/scheduled repairs.
• Communicate Parts Price Changes to required team members.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in MIS and monitor performance.
• Daily reconciliation of vendor invoice history report.
• Post and file invoices/credit memos timely.
• Ensure correct negotiated discounts with vendor invoices.
