Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to ensure exceptional customer experience by proficiently ordering, receiving, storing, and dispatching parts for each repair order. You will verify parts quality, track inventories, and collaborate with vendors to maintain efficiency.

Experience with automotive parts and strong organizational skills are required, along with I-CAR certification progress. This on-site role offers growth in a fast-paced collision environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus).
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational ability under pressure; proactive problem solving.
• I-Car registered; aiming for Gold Class certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Communicate all customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Order and receive parts with vendors per repair orders; verify quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop per production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track all parts by RO number; update parts status.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS; monitor part performance.
• Reconcile vendor invoice history; ensure accurate discounts and postings.
• Ensure invoices and credit memos are posted and filed/scanned promptly.
