Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to provide exceptional customer experiences by efficiently ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning parts for each repair order. You will verify parts quality and accuracy, ensuring timely delivery aligned with the production schedule and vehicle needs.

The role requires 1-3+ years in automotive parts, strong communication and organization, I-Car registration in progress, and proficiency with MIS systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus).
• Customer Service oriented with strong organizational ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands; ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on repair orders; verify quality, correctness, and quantity.
• Label and track all parts by the RO# and store with the vehicle/scheduled repairs.
• Enter parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label, store, and track parts; communicate price changes to team.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS; monitor performance.
• Reconcile vendor invoice history; ensure invoices/credit memos are posted timely.
• Ensure correct negotiated discounts on vendor invoices to maintain margins.
