Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Liability Claim Representative II to handle property damage and low-to-mid-range bodily injury claims. You will investigate, adjust, and direct vendors while coordinating with field operations, legal counsel, and insurers.

The role requires knowledge of U.S. liability laws, strong negotiation skills, and a customer-focused approach. Bachelor's degree and at least two years in casualty claims are preferred; licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more experience in casualty claims.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.
• Licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims, and directs independent adjusters, experts, and vendors.
• Interacts with field operations, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, insurers, and third party claimants.
• Manages litigation to ensure claims are handled according to jurisdiction.
• Identifies exposures and recommends solutions.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable payout and manages indemnity/expenses.
