Travelers in Hartford seeks a Claims Representative for Auto Liability to manage and investigate low to moderate complexity injury and property damage claims. You will handle contact with customers, assess coverage, determine liability, and establish reserves while maintaining professionalism and empathetic service.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, an active adjuster license where required, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Two years of bodily injury claim experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to analyze situations and exercise sound judgement.
• Exceptional customer service and empathy.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage stress and maintain professionalism.
• Knowledge of insurance principles and state regulations.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply experience to new situations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution within level of authority.
• Gather and thoroughly investigate information to determine coverage, evaluate liability, assess damages and establish reserves.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, opposing counsel, third-party vendors, internal stakeholders, and other parties.
• Negotiate with multiple constituents and convey claim settlements within authority and issue payments timely and accurately.
• Handle low complexity litigation.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations, system upgrades, and AI tools while preserving productivity and service quality.
